Who is responsible for your information

Helena Kopec is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. To get in touch, please use the enquiry form on this website.

What I collect

• Enquiry form details: your name, role, organisation, email address and any optional website, employee band, pressure areas, support interest, timing, call preference and free-text notes you choose to share.
• Email correspondence and notes from introductory calls.
• Basic, aggregated website usage information if analytics is enabled in future, and only with your consent.

Why I use it and the lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare any proposal you ask for. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps towards a contract.
• To deliver agreed work and keep proper records. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
• To keep this website secure and prevent spam or abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Who can see it

Enquiry submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database. Website and infrastructure providers process data on my behalf under contract. Your information is never sold, and it is never shared for third-party marketing.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and then for the period required for tax and professional record-keeping.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or ask for processing to be restricted. If you are not satisfied with my response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
