Who is responsible for your information

Kopec Consultancy is a trading name of Helena Kopec, who operates as a sole trader in the United Kingdom and is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.

What I collect

• Enquiry form details: your name, role, organisation, email address and any optional website, employee band, pressure areas, support interest, timing, call preference and free-text notes you choose to share.
• Operations Health Check details: your first name, work email, organisation, role, optional organisation size, your answers and the resulting scores, how you reached the page (for example a LinkedIn campaign link), and whether you opted in to occasional email updates.
• Email correspondence and notes from introductory calls.
• No website analytics data is collected at present. If analytics is switched on in future it will run only after you actively accept analytics cookies.

Why I use it and the lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare any proposal you ask for. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and, where relevant, steps towards a contract.
• To deliver agreed work and keep proper records. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
• To show and email you your Operations Health Check results, and to follow up personally where it may help. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You receive your results email whether or not you opt in to updates.
• To send occasional operations insights and Kopec Consultancy updates, only if you tick the optional box. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any email.
• To keep this website secure and prevent spam or abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Who processes it

Enquiry submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database with row-level access rules, so submissions cannot be read from the public website.

• Lovable, which hosts this website and provides the managed database that stores enquiries.
• Resend, which delivers the email notification of a new enquiry to my inbox and sends Operations Health Check results emails.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests those font files directly.
• Google Analytics is not in use today. Nothing is loaded from it and no analytics data is sent. If it is switched on in future, it will run only with your active consent.

Where it is processed

Where a provider processes information outside the UK, it does so under the safeguards set out in its own data-processing terms. Your information is never sold and is never shared for third-party marketing.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Operations Health Check submissions are kept for up to 12 months, or until you ask for them to be deleted. Client records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the work and then for the period required for tax and professional record-keeping.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or ask for processing to be restricted. To do so, please email helena@kopecconsultancy.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with my response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
